Service Details

We devise bespoke solutions for our clients, designed to suit your individual needs and budget, which are based on our four core services:

  • One to one advisory service
  • Website
  • Newsletters
  • Seminars

One-to-one advisory service

We provide one-to-one personal financial advice and management of all aspects of employees’ money. The service is often provided to senior staff, but can be offered to any groups of staff to meet your requirements either direct or through a flexible benefits facility.

The service is split into three levels as follows:

clarityONE-TO-ONE - Premium

This is our premium service, which for an annual fixed fee includes:

  • Review of existing financial arrangements and agreement of a future financial plan
  • Recommendations of new investments and products which will achieve the stated objectives
  • Purchase of investments via the website or paper-based applications. All discounts and initial commission is reinvested for the benefit of the individual
  • Access to our helpline
  • Advice for spouses, partners and their children
  • Annual valuations of investments and pensions
  • E-mail alerts on topical issues and fund performance

clarityONE-TO-ONE - Hourly Charged

This service operates on an hourly fee basis whereby employers agree to fund a certain number of hours of advice per employee per annum with additional time funded by the individual. This gives a clear dividing line between what the firm is providing and where the individual becomes responsible.

The hourly charged service can be used to cover the following:

  • Annual financial review
  • Retirement planning
  • Share options planning
  • Redundancy
  • Expat advice

clarityONE-TO-ONE - Annual Healthcheck

Our annual healthcheck service is available to larger groups of employees.

After completing an on-line questionnaire each employee will receive a financial review covering issues such as: planning for retirement, savings and investments, protection and tax planning. A comprehensive report is produced commenting on the employee’s current financial position and detailing any actions that may be necessary. The report takes account of existing corporate benefits and no financial products are promoted.

We can arrange seminars to help with completion of the questionnaires and also help explain details within the reports.

Website

The Internet is an increasingly efficient way to manage the administration of your finances and to purchase investments. For each of our corporate clients we set up a dedicated and personalised homepage (held within our main site) which can be linked from your Intranet, if you operate one. Operating your homepage from our website enables you to manage the Financial Services Act risk by separating you, the sponsoring company, from the advice given.

From this website staff can set up any number of investments, including ISAs, stakeholder pensions and unit trusts, free of initial commission. They can also benefit from generous discounts and special offers that we negotiate. The website contains research on performance of investments and fund managers as well as self-help financial planning tools and calculators covering such areas as: pensions, life cover, company cars, mortgages and investments. It is a transaction only service and although ‘best buy’ lists are provided no individual advice is given.

Newsletter

Our experience has shown that there is much common ground between the financial planning needs of employees such as: pension planning, dealing with share options and benefit changes following a merger. Our bespoke newsletter provides objective and refined information for your employees on financial planning issues specific to them, in an efficient way. The articles would embrace financial issues for your company i.e.

  • comments on pension benefits
  • share options
  • commentary on the investment markets
  • topical financial planning issues
  • analysis of the current and past ‘buy list’ recommendations

Seminars/Tutorials

Similar in principle to the newsletter, but a more personalised way to explain more complex financial planning issues to groups of staff with similar requirements. We can provide seminars and tutorials on many financially oriented subjects such as:

  • pension changes/stakeholder pension
  • share option strategies
  • merger/harmonisation of benefits
  • retirement planning
  • redundancy financial planning
  • post graduation financial planning

The important thing for you, as the sponsor of the seminar, is that they deliver practical advice with no element of "sell".
