clarity CALCULATORS
This page provides links to the 3 Calculators that we have developed to help you plan your personal finances more effectively.
Mortgage Calculator
This shows you the monthly payments, for a given mortgage, on both an Interest Only and Repayment basis. With any option, please note you are likely to have additional costs. This calculator is designed to show the core mortgage payment only. We are more than happy to go through the other costs you might incur.
Mortgage Calculator
Investment Calculator
This shows how much money you might accumulate over a fixed period , you having entered your existing fund and annual contribution
level. We show results in both future value terms (Tomorrow's terms) and in present value terms (Today's terms i.e. discounted for
inflation).
Investment Calculator
Pension Calculator
This has two Stages to it. Firstly, you can project how much money you might accumulate over a fixed period, you having entered your
existing fund and annual contribution. We show results in both future value terms (Tomorrow's terms) and in present value terms
(Today's terms i.e. discounted for inflation).
Stage 2 takes this further and allows you to predict what might happen if you defered taking your pension benefits for a number of
years. A typical scenario might be someone who retires at age 55 ie ceases to contribute to pensions at that point (enter "55" in Stage 1).
However, in this example, the retiree might have sufficient funds to tie them over to, say, 60 at which point the retiree takes benefits
(enter "60" in Stage 2). If you do not intend to defer then simply enter the same age in both Stage 1 and Stage 2.
At Stage 2, the output of fund values and sample annuity rates is again shown in both future value terms (Tomorrow's terms) and in
present value terms (Today's terms i.e. discounted for inflation).
