Finding the right financial adviser, who you can work with for the long term, is essential.
That is why you need clarity.
Thanks for a really useful meeting yesterday. You really help de-mystify the topic for me (and I'm a chartered accountant!) and have given me some very helpful tips.
Where I use clarity is to provide expertise in the broader perspective needed to cover my asset allocation and overall financial strategy.
clarity provides clear and professional advice in the highly complex area of tax and financial planning.
We have used Glyn Bolton and his team at clarity for a number years. We have found them to be very efficient and reactive to our needs. Their advice has always been sound giving good results and they have been available when we needed them, full of professionalism and friendliness.
Having lived overseas for a number of years I rely on clarity's expertise to guide me through the complexities of onshore vs. offshore investments and the associated UK tax implications
We have found the ongoing guidance and investment strategy of Angus Jones and his team to be well informed and well suited to our requirements for long-term investing, taking into account the market fluctuations and our responsibility to risk as Trustees.
The addition of financial advice to our Flexible Benefits and new joiner packages has proved most valuable to our employees. It has allowed them to make more appropriate financial choices and to better value the benefits we work hard to provide.
Many thanks for the referral to your Mortgage Advisers. Rob [Hayward], my contact there, was very helpful, reliable and pleasant and was very good at keeping me informed with progress at all times.
I particularly wanted to write and thank you for the customer care service your colleague Glyn Bolton has provided for me. I am the Chairman of the Charitable Trust and we chose Glyn to look after our account and he has looked after us beautifully, having fulfilled our objectives.
I have found clarity very useful in helping me to schedule, monitor and control my financial affairs with their efficient diary and valuation services.
We selected clarity because they are fee-based and hence impartial in this respect. The response to this company benefit has been very positive.
clarity gives me strategic direction over my investments, savings and retirement objectives whilst I am busy running a company.
I am a personal client of Glyn’s, as having been impressed with his professionalism and customer service on the Charitable Trust that I Chair I asked him to look after my own investments and pensions. I especially wanted to commend Glyn’s hard work, which was nothing short of magnificent.
Being a Main Board Director of a FTSE 100 retailer, I am particularly sensitive to customer service. You should know that Mr. Bolton, while being very professional, interacts with sensitivity and caring that I find most welcome.
...the closure of our final salary pension scheme. clarity has provided an excellent series of seminars and one-to-one meetings for staff all around the country to explain the implications of these changes and what actions individuals need to take.
The regular reviews I receive from clarity... give me the proactive regular review mechanism I need.
I have for a number of years used the services of clarity for my own pension, personal tax and investment affairs, as they provide an excellent proactive service of fee-based advice.
I have known Angus since his days at PriceWaterhouse and have been a clarity client for a number of years now. I find the service very good, quick responses to questions and requests for advice and guidance. I am very pleased with the service and the opportunity for a face to face meeting
clarity was specifically recommended by a work colleague at a time when I needed very clear and timely advice in respect of my pension and investment arrangements. I found my advisor, to be very responsive and helpful.
We have been clarity clients for many years. Our advice has ranged across pensions, balancing our portfolio and charitable giving. Daniel Smith, has got to know our circumstances and listens carefully to all questions. He understands our goals, so we receive excellent ongoing advice.
As I approached my 75th birthday clarity ensured a highly satisfactory result with regard to taking my retirement benefits.
A short note to thank you for all that you have done for me over the past six months. You have made my first – and possibly only ever – venture into the world of investments quite intelligible and straightforward.
I have found clarity's expert technical knowledge extremely useful when considering how the new pension rules affect my pensions planning.
I always like these one-to-one sessions as they bring together all the things that I have been thinking about over the year into a plan that is actually enacted; and I know that I will actually get to where I am intending to go
clarity provides an excellent sounding board for me to discuss how to plan my pension income strategy.

Many organisations recognise that workplace financial education should now be an integral part of their employee benefits package. With more financial choices available than ever before, and a constantly changing legislative framework, many people are looking to their employer for help.
The pension landscape alone has been through significant changes in recent years. As defined benefit (DB) pension schemes have been replaced by defined contribution (DC) arrangements, the responsibility for saving for retirement has moved from employers to employees.
Managing the assets and making financial decisions on behalf of a not for profit (NFP) organisation is a significant responsibility that requires due care and diligence. Many trusteeships are voluntary but this does not lessen the burden of responsibility or the range of associated obligations.
clarity’s flexible service structure, fee transparency, independence and proven track record mean that we can meet the rigorous demands of NFP trustees, and ensure you get the financial advice you need. We are experienced in providing financial management advice to a range of trusts and NFPs.
Alongside our financial planning and wealth management advice, our clients often require associated professional services that are outside our areas of expertise. Similarly, other professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants often need a partner they can entrust with their clients’ regulated financial services requirements.
We strive to provide our clients with a seamless ‘family-office approach’ and so like to build strong, lasting partnerships with other professional firms who share the same commitment to providing the best possible advice and client service.
All of our advisers are Chartered Financial Planners and our team is committed to delivering exceptional client service.
